Nursing Care

Our nursing care is for people whose health needs require the skills of a registered nurse. Nurses are on duty 24 hours a day, working alongside experienced carers to provide clinical care with warmth, patience and dignity.

Each resident has a personalised nursing care plan, created with them, their family and the professionals involved in their care — and reviewed regularly as needs change.

  • Medication management & administration
  • Wound care & pressure area care
  • Diabetes & long-term condition support
  • Catheter, stoma & continence care
  • Nutrition & hydration monitoring
  • Liaison with GPs & specialists

Who it’s for

People living with long-term or complex health conditions, physical disabilities or reduced mobility, who need regular support from a registered nurse.

Residential Care

Residential care is for people who are largely independent but need some help with day-to-day living, or who no longer feel safe or happy living alone. Our carers are there around the clock, offering support that respects each person’s independence and routines.

Residents enjoy freshly prepared meals, a clean and comfortable room, a full programme of activities and the reassurance that help is always close by.

  • Help with washing, bathing & dressing
  • Support with medication
  • Nutritious meals, snacks & drinks
  • Mobility & getting-around support
  • Laundry & housekeeping
  • Companionship & daily activities

Independence first

We encourage residents to do as much as they can for themselves, and step in with help where it’s wanted — never taking over.

Dementia Care

Living with dementia can be confusing and frightening, both for the person and for the people who love them. Our approach focuses on the person, not the diagnosis — getting to know their life story, their likes and dislikes, and what brings them comfort and joy.

Familiar routines, a calm environment and patient, trained staff help residents feel secure, while meaningful activities support memory, confidence and wellbeing.

  • Life-story work & familiar routines
  • Dementia-trained care staff
  • Calm, easy-to-navigate surroundings
  • Music, reminiscence & sensory activities
  • Gentle support with anxiety or distress
  • Regular updates for families

Supporting families too

We know dementia affects the whole family. Our team is always happy to talk, share how your loved one is doing and involve you in their care.

Respite & Short Stays

Respite care is a short stay at our home — from a few days to several weeks. It gives family carers time to rest, take a holiday or look after their own health, knowing their loved one is safe and well cared for.

Short stays are also a gentle way to experience care home life before deciding on a longer-term move.

  • Planned breaks for family carers
  • Support after illness or a hospital stay
  • Full access to our care, meals & activities
  • A personal care plan for every stay
  • A comfortable, furnished room
  • Option to discuss a longer stay

Booking a short stay

Please contact us as early as possible to check availability. In urgent situations, call us and we will always do our best to help.

Palliative & End-of-Life Care

When someone is nearing the end of their life, what matters most is comfort, dignity and being surrounded by care. Our team provides gentle, attentive support that respects each person’s wishes, beliefs and culture.

We work closely with GPs, district nurses and specialist palliative care teams to manage pain and symptoms, and we support families every step of the way — including being with their loved one whenever they wish.

  • Pain & symptom management with health teams
  • Advance care planning that respects wishes
  • Emotional, spiritual & cultural support
  • Families welcome to stay close
  • Comfort-focused personal care
  • Support for families, during and after

A peaceful, dignified place

We aim to make the final stage of life as calm and comfortable as possible — for residents and for everyone who loves them.

Post-Hospital & Recovery Care

After a stay in hospital, an operation, a fall or an illness, some people need extra support before they’re ready to go home. Our recovery (convalescent) care offers a safe place to rest, regain strength and rebuild confidence.

We work with hospital discharge teams, GPs and community therapists, following any rehabilitation or exercise plans so each person can recover at their own pace.

  • Smooth admission from hospital
  • Support to follow therapy & exercise plans
  • Help with mobility & daily living
  • Medication & wound care support
  • Nutrition to aid recovery
  • Planning for a safe return home

Back to independence

Our goal is to help each person get back to doing the things they enjoy — and, wherever possible, return home safely and confidently.
